Archer Aviation's stock (ACHR) climbed 1.3% in after-hours trading following the completion of a successful flight test campaign for its Midnight eVTOL aircraft in Abu Dhabi. The demonstration, conducted at Al Bateen Executive Airport, showcased the aircraft's full operational capabilities, including vertical takeoff, transition, and wingborne flight.

The Midnight eVTOL, designed for urban air mobility, aims to replace lengthy car commutes with 10-20 minute flights. This milestone advances Archer's commercialization efforts in the UAE, a key early-adopter market. Payments from Abu Dhabi Aviation have commenced under their Launch Edition agreement.
